The Colombia Action Solidarity Alliance (CASA) is a group of activists, unionists, Afro descendents and others based in Toronto, Canada. Our solidarity work is based on a direct relationship with Colombian Grassroots, communities and social organizations that struggle for peace, human rights and social justice. We regard their "Life Projects" as resistance, social transformation, and alternatives to the dominant militaristic economic model implemented by the Colombian state and multinational corporate interests.
An important priority of our work is to expose to Canadians the struggles of Colombian people. The purpose is to generate political and economic support for the Colombian social movement and their initiatives, also, to establish permanent links between social movements in both countries.
